SOCCER CARDS INVESTMENT INVSMENT OPINION– April 1, 2021 - EURO 2020 GROUP A
Today we will zoom in on Euro 202 Group A. We will break down the nations Turkey, Italy, Wales & Switzerland and highlight some players to watch!

After Group F in Euro 2020, this is probably the toughest group to predict. With 4 numbers 3 in the group advancing to the next round, we are hoping that this group will not end in a lot of draws in order to give the number 3 team a chance to advance to the knock-out round as it probably deserves.
We think Switzerland overall has the least quality in their squad even tough they always are able to field a great team that plays well together. We are thinking that Italy posses enough quality to top the group and expecting a very intense battle between Wales and Turkey for the number 2 spot in Group A. Turkey has a well oiled team and Wales has some quality veteran players combined with some youth players to watch. This could proof to be a winning combination.
We highlighted some players to watch. These are not always the biggest stars on the team, but players we think can make a difference for their team at Euro 2020 based on their performance:
Turkey:
Caglar Soyuncu (Leicester City)
Turkey's team is well balanced and will proof hard to beat during the Euro's Look for Yilmaz to be the big difference maker on the team with his goal scoring ability. Soyuncu and Calhanoglu are solid starters to provide balance and the experience to raise Turkey to the next level during Euro 2020
Italy:
Italy has a lot of names to choose from. We highlighted Chiesa, Sensi and Barella because we believe that if they continue to show the form they have shown for their clubs, Italy should be in the mix to be a contender for the Euro cup. As soon as Italy reaches the knock-out phase, they will be hard to beat.
Wales:
Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace)
Daniel James (Manchester United)
Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur)
Wales has an interesting team that doesn't concede a lot of goals. Therefor Hennessay will be an important link for Wales to have any aspirations of getting far in the tournament. We think a lot of weight is on Bale's shoulders to provide the goal scoring ability that Wales is potentially missing. Bale's recent form has been getting better and we think Euro 2020 could be the tournament where we can really say Bale is back!
Switzerland:
Switzerland will need to rely heavily on their veteran players and hope some youngsters rise to the occasion for Switzerland to be in the mix to qualify for the next round. Shaquiri and Xhaka have been playing together for Switzerland for quite some years and could get this team moving. Lacking goal scoring ability, Sefereovic has to to show up with some goals in order for Switzerland to be competitive.
